Unfortunately, at this time in the United States, Ayurveda is not considered mainstream or allopathic medicine, but alternative medicine. Therefore, insurance does not cover Ayurveda costs at this time.
Our Director, Dr. Jayarajan, is on the Board of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) - an organization devoted to preserving, protecting and promoting Ayurveda in the U.S. NAMA is currently working towards establishing licensure for Ayurvedic medicine so that insurance can accept Ayurveda costs for health seekers.
*If you have a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account through your employer, you can use that account to pay for your Ayurveda appointments and products. Please check with your Human Resources department for further details on how to setup or use your HSA or FSA account at our Wellness Center.
How will my Ayurvedic services work - what should I expect?
We begin with a Preliminary Consultation appointment (90 minutes - $150-240) during which one of our Practitioners will review your health history background, current diet and lifestyle. You will be provided the necessary intake forms for your Preliminary Consultation prior to your appointment and can bring completed forms with you, or arrive early to complete them at our Wellness Center before your appointment. After determining and analyzing your unique Ayurvedic Body Constitution, we will evaluate your personal goals and the health issues you would like to heal and develop a protocol for you. Suggestiongs include diet and lifestyle changes, Ayurvedic herb/supplement suggestions and recommendations for personalized Ayurvedic Bodywork treatments, home remedies, Yoga and Pranayama.
Follow up appointments may be scheduled for 60 minutes ($120-180) or 30 minutes ($70-$100), and additional Ayurvedic services at our Wellness Center may be scheduled as recommended. Click here for a full list of services and pricing.

Can you guarantee a cure?
The ancient wisdom of Ayurveda provides solutions to common health needs in today's world. It is a comprehensive system for lasting, longterm changes in health through natural methods that are sustainable for the individual and the planet. Not only does Ayurveda support the management of existing illness, it also prevents future illness. Ayurveda is called the "common sense science" because its elegant philosophy explains how our minds and bodies are integrated with our planet, and even the greater cosmos. Its framework outlines manageable changes which can significantly impact overall health for wellness, naturally.

Do you perform Panchakarma Treatment, and what are the costs and details?
Yes, we perform Panchakarma, the Ayurvedic art of detoxification, purification and rejuvenation, at our Fremont Wellness Center clinic in Fremont, CA.
Panchakarma is a deep cleansing program that involves diet, herbalized body techniques and elimination procedure. These ancient rejuvenation techniques are designed to nourish the physical body and access the subtle body where stored toxins, emotions and thoughts form, creating blockages in the body. It is a powerful way to address and eliminate the root cause of disease and has been a method for thousands of years to stay healthy, young and vital.
A Panchakarma program consists of the Pre-Panchakarma Consultation appointment, herbal formulations taken 7 days prior to the 1st day of Panchakarma treatment, all of the oils and herbs used during treatment, food provided during each day of the Panchakarma treatment, and a Post-Panchakarma Consultation appointment (scheduled within 2 weeks of the last day of treatment).
Each day of Panchakarma treatment costs $425, the Pre-Panchakarma Consultation appointment is 60 minutes for $180 and the Post-Panchakarma Consultation appointment is 30 minutes for $100. We have shower facilities at the center and relaxing areas for you to spend as much time as needed.
