Admissions and Requirements
KAA accepts a limited number of students in each class (approximately 20 students per class).
Prerequisites for the Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor (AWC) Program
Kerala Ayurveda Academy welcomes all students with a High School Diploma and an interest in holistic medicine or any alternative healing modalities. KAA welcomes students with BS degrees in any field or Certified/Licensed Practitioners in a health-related field including Massage Therapy, Chiropractic, Nursing, Naturopathy and Allopathic Medicine.
Please Note: Basic Anatomy and Physiology are a requisite for this program and must be completed before graduation. If students have not already taken an Anatomy and Physiology class they may do so through our Distance Learning program or through our offering of the class in the school year. If you have any further questions please discuss them with the Program Coordinator.
Prerequisites for the Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner (AWP) Program
Completion of the AWC certificate or equivalent program from a state-approved school.
